Founder and CEO

JOHN RAATZ, Founder and CEO of The Visioneering Group, is a modern-day Renaissance man. A skilled and experienced communicator, strategist, administrator, musician, teacher and entrepreneur, the thread that runs through Raatz's professional life is an abiding commitment to others' excellence and success ... and to the unfolding process that's lifting all of humanity to a new level of ethical and spiritual expression.

Raatz has been a personal manager in the entertainment industry, representing both high-profile celebrity actors and musicians. He's been a successful stockbroker, a major executive at a public relations agency, a professional blues/rock guitarist, a publisher of a leading-edge newsletter and the administrator of one of Southern California's most forward-looking holistic health clinics.

Raatz holds a Bachelor of Science degree and professional certification in public relations, and is pursuing a BBA degree from the State University of New York Regents Program as well as certification in financial planning from the College for Financial Planning. He is a frequent lecturer on public relations for the UCLA Extension PR Certificate Program.

Raatz also holds a private pilot's license, and is currently working on his instrument rating. Embodying an eclectic spiritual path since 1967, Raatz is a certified meditation teacher and, since 1976, has instructed thousands in the practice. Since 1989, The Visioneering Group has represented many of the foremost authors, books, films and musical projects in the alternative/transformational movement, including What the Bleep Do We Know, The 11th Hour, Youth Without Youth, Peaceful Warrior,Baraka, Mindwalk, A Brief History of Time, Fritjof Capra, Peter Russell, Chellis Glendinning, Dead Can Dance, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Madonna and Donovan.

Creative Director

DAVID LANGER is a media communications specialist with more than 30 years' experience in all facets of marketing communications.

In recent years, as a partner in The Visioneering Group, David has developed and implemented national marketing campaigns for a variety of clients in the music, publishing and manufacturing fields. As President of The Langers & Company, which he founded in 1985, he served medical, manufacturing and media clients in all phases of marketing communications, advertising and public relations. David has also served as Director of Advertising/Merchandising Programs for the Paramount (Pictures) Music Division.

In 1997-98 he co-hosted "Connecting Point," a daily hour-long, drive-time radio interview/talk program in Los Angeles, connecting him with the leading authors, experts and thinkers in both the traditional and emerging new social/spiritual personal growth paradigms.

In 1979/80, as a co-founder of the Institute for Synergy in Action (ISA), David was instrumental in designing and implementing a year-long process for 300 volunteers, which resulted in The Los Angeles World Hunger Event. This day-long event for 250 high-profile political and media guests was central in instigating the focus on volunteerism in the 1980s. Live Aid, the first worldwide, televised fundraiser, was a direct consequence of this seminal event.

As a trainer/coach, he co-developed the ISA facilitator training program, and developed and led Conscious Relationships workshops, and The Shadow and Soul Workshop for Men (with psychotherapist partners). He is currently on the faculty of The Rocamora School for Consciousness Studies in Los Angeles, is a trainer with The Coaching Exchange, and provides individual one-on-one consulting/coaching services.

David holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin in Radio and TV.
